Auto Care · Vehicle service records
Ask once. The garages answer.
Auto Care is being built as a hub for the vehicles you own. Ask for roadside help or a garage visit, receive offers you can read side by side, follow the work while it happens, and keep what was done. It is in development at HoofBeat Technology and there is nothing to buy.
Coming soon In development. Nothing to buy and no date to give.
How it will work
Four steps, and a record at the end of them.
The same shape whether the car will not start on the Corniche or the service light came on this morning. Everything below describes what is being built, not what is running today.
- 01
Say what the car needs
Pick the vehicle from the ones on your account and describe the problem — a breakdown and a tow, or a service, or a repair. Photographs attach to the request.
- 02
Providers answer
The request goes to tow operators and garages who work that area and are open to it. They reply with what they will do and what it costs.
- 03
Compare, then agree
Offers arrive in one list: price, what is included, and how soon. You choose one. Nothing is decided by an algorithm on your behalf.
- 04
Follow it, then keep it
Watch the job move through its stages while it runs, and when it closes it becomes a line in that vehicle’s history that outlives the garage that did it.
The hub
Everything is attached to a vehicle.
Not to an invoice, not to a workshop’s system, and not to a folder in a glovebox. Add the cars you own and every request, offer and completed job hangs off the one it belongs to.
- Your vehicles
- The cars on your account, each with its own record — plate, mileage, and what has been done to it.
- Roadside and towing
- Request a tow and have it go to operators covering where you are, rather than to whichever number you happen to have saved.
- Garage and service requests
- A service, a repair, or a look at something that does not sound right — described once and sent once.
- Offers you can compare
- What the work is, what it costs, and when — from more than one provider, in one place.
- Progress you can see
- The stage the job is at, without a phone call to ask.
- Service history
- Every closed job on the record, in order, for as long as you own the car — and handed on when you sell it.
Why it stays inside
The record is only worth what it is complete.
A request that turns into a phone call, and a price agreed in a car park, leaves nothing behind. Auto Care is being designed so the request, the offer, the agreed price and the finished job all sit in the same place — which is what makes the history mean anything a year later.
-
The conversation belongs to the job
Messages between an owner and a provider are attached to the request they are about, so what was agreed is not somebody’s recollection of a call.
-
Ratings follow completed work
A rating is being tied to a job that actually closed on the platform, so it cannot be left by somebody who was never a customer.
-
Taking it outside costs the record
Nothing stops two people agreeing privately. What they lose is the offer, the progress and the line in the vehicle’s history — and that loss is the design, not a penalty.
Later
What comes after the first version.
-
Parts
A marketplace for the parts a job needs, quoted against the same request rather than sourced separately.
-
More than one car, more than one driver
Small fleets, where the person who reports the fault is not the person who answers for the vehicle.
Where it stands
Nothing here is for sale.
So that nobody has to guess which parts of this page are real yet:
- There is no app to download, on any store.
- There is no price, no plan, and no payment of any kind inside Auto Care.
- No provider has been verified, because verification is not running yet.
- No coverage is claimed for any area, and no response time is promised.
- There is no launch date — not a month, not a quarter.
Early access
Tell us what you actually need.
If you look after a car, run a garage, or answer for vehicles other people drive, the useful moment to talk is now — while the shape can still change. Write to us and say which of those you are.
support@hoofbeat.app Other ways to reach us
A person replies. Your address is used to answer you and to tell you once when Auto Care opens — not to add you to anything, and never passed to a provider.
Auto Care and MIRBAT are separate products from HoofBeat Technology. Neither is a version of the other, and using one has nothing to do with using the other.
